Good Morning Lovely Ladies
I am awake and sitting up in bed typing this. Figured if I do it now and will actually get on here and say Hi.
Feel I've been busy this last few weeks. But things should settle back to new normal from now on.
DD21 has settled into their new place nicely. They are very lucky and have had a very good start. TNB's mother was so keen to get him out that she has lent them money for new things, lounge, fridge, washing machine, dining suite. They have bought well and everything matches and looks great. DD21 has a good eye and good taste and is quite the bargain hunter like her mother. She calls me daily and chats away. She was never one to enjoy being home alone (this was one of my biggest concerns) and with TNB gone to work all day she is very much home alone. In time that will change and she will find work, but she still has 4 weeks placement here at a local hospital to get done before she can commit to even a part-time job down there. TNB was well aware of this before they moved and is happy to support her in the mean time.
DS22 & GF came for dinner last night. He's another one that spends too much time home alone. Trying our best to encourage him to get out and about a bit more. It's not really a matter of afford-ability, he is just too much of a home body.
DD17 has pulled a muscle in her shoulder, so might be having a day off today. Yesterday she went but I drove and it was only a half day. DH said we 'know a guy' who might be able to help her so we might take her there, depends how she feels this morning when she gets up.
And as for me, I am feeling I am finally getting somewhere again with this diet. After much soul searching I have changed back to Calorie Counting (weighing and measuring everything), it's tried and true. Dukan was great last year, but had just started to feel stale and ineffective. I have noticed the scales moving again in the right direction. And I am loving the diversity of food choices again. All diets are restrictive in some way or another, otherwise they wouldn't work. This one I am restricted on portion size rather than just food type like on Dukan. I am enjoying a few vegetarian meals (something not allowed on Dukan)
Well, today is FridayFLYaround (and as I didn't finish WHB on Tuesday) it will be a little more required.
