Hi
Yesterday we had a school meeting re diagnosis & where to go from here. Thankfully there is a lot of help available nowadays, just have to get it in place.
Am seeing a DFriend to decompress, then to library for research then pick up DD for speech therapy
House is a mess as I couldn't cope with even easy things this week, have done food, dishes & laundry but everything else isn't good. Am planning on catching up during weekend if I can manage it.
Hope everyone has a great day

Good Morning Medusa & those to come,
Medusa that's good news that you have access to the help DD will need, if her school is on the same page, that should make a world of difference for her. Enjoy your morning out & don't stress over the house too much. As long as everybody is fed, happy & has clean clothes, it's okay for a bit while you've got other things going on.
I had to pick up DS early from school yesterday, he wasn't well so he's home again today. DD has begrudgingly gone to school even though she's not 100% either. I managed to clear out some old files & filled the shredder 3 times. I would like to work on that a bit more today.
Wishing you all a great day

Hi Everyone Medusa Im glad you have friends that you can unload onto. Thats so important and yes Elasti is right if everyone is fed and clothed that is the main thing at the moment. Elasti- I can’t imagine all the paperwork you have lol. I m thinking maybe Shellie is copping a lot of rain ??!! I haven’t done much at home either. I have a stack of ironing! Our bags are unpacked and all the holiday clothes washed and hung- some are dried and put away. The suitcases are away too. Today I’ve done a load of darks and Ill have a load of lights as well. i have asked Ds21 to put clothes in the hamper each day and not just when he has nothing left to wear! No clothes washed so far this week for him His DDog is settling in. There has been some barking but there is less and less each day. Im surprised for a boy who loves his DDog so much (he says more than anything) that he will ignore his dog when he gets him from work and then go out without feeding it- not while he’s living here he won’t! Im not putting up with the barking! I have DGD today but DD30 didn’t work last night so Ill return her home for her afternoon nap and try and get a little housework done here. we will go to the library for Storytime and then to the shops. If the rain stops a bit here this afternoon Id like to take DD0g2 for a walk
Hope you all have a Great Day!! x x

Hi Medusa, Glad you are getting support. I work in education and parent advocacy is really important and parent partnership is something schools are trying to do, but some better than others. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way for good outcomes for DD and hopefully not too much stress for you. Take care.
Hi Elasti, Great to 'see' you and thanks for the Friday hugs - gratefully received.
Hi everyone,
Working from home today and have more than a day's work. The small wins on the home front are: tidy kitchen and cleared the hotspots and loaded books to giveaway to the car and took them to Lifeline on the way home from school drop off. My entrance downstairs is almost clear.
Wishing you all a great day and a wonderful weekend.
