Good morning girls, hope we slept well.
Last couple of days has been spent on filling in more forms and finally lodging the last of them yesterday arvo....I hope!!! There better be a good outcome from the amount of time me and DH has spent on it. My dining room table and floor are covered in folders, files and papers.
Today is the first day in a long while that I can really focus on my house and other areas that I've neglected. So apart from ensuring DS17 is ready to leave for Uni on Sunday (for those that don't know he will be living on campus apx 2 1/2 drive away from home ) and some urgent FACE, my plan:
M/R, load/s a day, PUPA/Declutter floors and surfaces, ironing, cook bolognaise sauce (in slow cooker), start WHB and decide on a ZONE.
Shellie hope you enjoyed ur night out in Sydney. Have a great day at work today. I can visualise the areas your cleaning. Medusa glad to hear DNephew is home and hopefully recovering quickly. Elizabeth hope DD went well at the Sport's Trial, wtg on giving it a go. Elasti hope your feeling much better today. Judy I know this might sound crazy but to know you're home to focus on WHB feels good Merley, we're all hit and miss at times, me more than others, have a great day.
Ok been on here longer than I thought I'd be so best make a move, 2nd coffee and finish M/R. Have a great day everyone!!!

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Thanks girls, we did have a nice night last night. It was a bit quick though, I think we spent longer driving than we spent at the dinner table. There was a good speaker, who was very funny. A cricketer by the name of Kerrie OKeefe, he is recently retired from ABC Broadcasting. Laughed a lot at his own jokes, but some of them were funny.
Well it's 'heigh ho heigh ho' for me today. I am part way through my MR and then I'll jump in the shower. No walk this morning, I have to deliver DD16 to school earlier for an excursion to the wetlands. Then I'll head straight to work. Hopefully this arvo I'll get 30mins in.
I am going to give the DUKAN Diet a go and see if I can get any progress that way. I am still planning to go to Dr and have bloods done, just haven't found the time for that yet. I found an online site and I got a result of 6days for Attack Stage, so I will see how I go.
Ok, time to move. Wishing you a Fabulous Friday and a Wonderful Weekend ahead.
SYS, the days are ticking by. Are you on 'holiday schedule' to get everything done? It's getting so close to DS17 leaving, are all his clothes washed? My microwave is still very clean
Medusa, Poor DNephew, glad he is back home. I hope it wasn't too traumatic for him
Elizabeth, I am loving your 'out to the office approach. Can't get sidetracked there
Elasti, I hope your energy levels are up today. DH sounds like a gem
Judy, enjoy your home day, even if you are doing WHB
Merley, looking forward to seeing you here more often. I hope your feeling well.

Hi Sys, Hope you can get things back to normal after all that paper work. DD made it into the team and we're off to Mackay for the Carnival. Such a proud Mummy.
Hi Shellie, Glad you had a good night in Sydney and loved your description of the speaker. Enjoy Heigh ho!
Hi Medusa, Still sending (((hugs))) and healing to DNeph and the family. They are so lucky to have you - as is your DFriend and all that washing. You're a gem! Hope you have a great day.
Hi everyone,
Home with DS3 today, so it's blessings a plenty - very much needed. Not sure if I'll manage any paid work - will try to do some if he decides to nap. We'll head out to story time at the local library mid-morning for an 'outing'. He's so used to Preprep and DGPs that he's a bit lost this morning. Normally he plays well, but he's just flitting a bit from activity to activity atm and not settling on any one activity. I think I'll get him to water the plants soon - he needs a project.
Tonight it's cricket for DS8 and I'm helping with the club BBQ. Tomorrow it's cricket for DD and an early start as we're playing at fields quite a bit further than usual (but right next door to a DGf, so I'm hoping for a catch up.)
Off to whip this house into shape!!!!

Hi girls, just a late fly-by post for me,MR done, kids to schools, a bit of effective sidetracking done with/caused by DH this morning.I've sorted out a school dental schamozzle that's been ongoing for a couple of weeks, finally sorted & resolved!Formula for DS ordered, FACE updated, washing, phone calls to both sets of parents & today's mail dealt with.Easy dinner tonight - crustless quiche for me, meat pie & veggies for them. DVD night with DH - Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy I think. No significant cleaning done, I'm fluttering along there, right now I'm focusing on routines & my health.Elizabeth - congratulations to DD for making the team!Enjoy your night everyone

Hi Everyone Sys- hope you get lots done while on holidays! Were you doing your tax? I really have to get on DHs back to get ours done! 6 days on the attack phase Shellie? Thats a lot! Hope it works for you! Have fun at work today! Medusa- have a good day. I agree with Elizabeth you are wonderful to do so much for other people! Great that DD made the team Elizabeth! Hope you do manage to get some paid work done. Ive done most of my WHB today. DH is currently staining doors in our laundry, bathroom, toilet area which is the next area for me to vacuum and mop but I dont want to stop him so ill just do something else for now. We have also got stuck into cleaning DS20s old room-getting rid of a dressing table he had in the walkinrobe and an extra mattress on his bed! Ive also done a very good vacuum and damp wiped all the baseboards, window sills and heating vent etc. I still need to do the ceiling fan in there. We still have to do a lot of kilometers in our car for the lease agreement otherwise we are out of pocket $4000. We dont have to pay for the petrol (already factored into agreement) so we will be going out a bit until the end of March. Tomorrow we have a 1 yo birthday party to go to thats over an hours drive away so we plan to keep going afterwards and spend the night somewhere and then travel further the next day for lunch. Strange to think the house will be EXACTLY as we leave it!! ok Im off to do a little more and then read my book for a while
Have a Great Day All!! x x
