Good morning girls, hope we slept well.
Yesterday we all went and took DS17 to his Uni for the start of O Week, settled him into his room and toured the campus. Very organised and lots of staff/supervisors etc for any assistance. His O Week schedule looks like a lot of fun with a lot of settling in and adapting to Uni life information. DS21 was a bit jealous that he didn't go to a Uni away from home, but the boy's are already planning for DS21 to go and visit/stay. After giving DS17 a massive hug goodbye told him to 'REMEMBER WHAT YOU'RE HERE FOR, MAKE YOURSELF PROUD' in other words your at uni to study/get a degree, not only fun/freedom, we drove home less one child
My plan today - M/R, load/s a day, menu plan, tidy DS17's room, continue PUPAring, scrub ensuite and some book work, dinner - satay chicken.
Shellie you've got determination, wtg with your walking, hope the new diet is working for you. Judy how exciting to keep driving to use up km's on your car. Yesterday DH + I would've liked to continue west when we were taking DS17 to uni, just to see what's there. BTW we were working on Centrelink stuff and as we answered questions more forms were required Medusa, hope DD is feeling excited for preschool this morning. Elasti, Jilly, Elizabeth hope you have a great day.
Ok my time here is up, off for 2nd coffee and start some book work before the family gets up. Have a great Monday!!

Good Morning SYS and all the Lovely Ladies to come
Yesterday was bits and pieces. Went for a long walk, PUPA'ed, Load a Day, Daily Routines, plus a fair bit of resting while watching movies with DH and reading my book.
Today I'd like to vac 2nd half of house. Daily Routines. Walk. Prep and cook some proteins. What's for Dinner? Crock Pot Chicken.
SYS, Big Hugs to you. I know what it's like to have a 17yr old starting Uni, but I can't imagine then having to drop her off to live there too. It does sound very organized and I am sure he will find is way quickly, after all he is a smart lad. Just think he may even have a better appreciation for his wonderful mum after a few weeks of doing for himself.
Ok, time to move. Wishing you all a Marvelous Monday and a Wonderful Weekend.

Hi Sys, Loved your advice to DS at uni - will have to remember that. Hope you're ok with him leaving the nest. (((Hugs)))
Hi Shellie, WTG with your healthy choices. Weightloss aside, you're walking is no doubt making you a healthier person, not to mention and inspiration to me. Must get moving!!! Glad you're resting as well.
Hi Medusa, Hope that sinus headache is GONE!! No fun at all and makes everything else harder. Hope DD settles in soon and can enjoy all the fun and activity and be more sure of herself.
Hi everyone,
Not sure where my weekend went, but it was nice and the house is looking better. Cricket was lovely and my wonderful Saturday morning break. Then I took the girls shopping (DD + 2 friends). After a food court lunch, they window-shopped while I did the groceries. Then I had a guitar workshop. It's so nice to do stuff just for me.
Sunday was blessings - you know that day of 'rest' - the 'rest of the jobs I hadn't done yet!'
Last night DH and I went to a concert. Had dinner with DSil and DBiL first. Really lovely, but omg I just don't bounce back from late nights anymore! And there's another one Wednesday and Saturday, though Saturday won't be as late.
This morning was blessings, now I need to focus on doing what needs to be done aka paid work, then I have an appointment to get a second quote for my car repair. I'm a bit cross with the Coles Customer service (quotes for damage caused by trolley) - I asked initially and they said one quote, then get back to me a month later saying they won't do anything without 2 quotes - I could have done that at the same time if they had just told me! Grrrr! Small frustrations are obviously sent to make me develop patience.
After school I'm meeting with DS8's teachers to discuss progress, make some requests re. homework (can we have it earlier/longer) and to keep tutor and school on the same page, so he's more confident, but not overwhelmed. The big kids can practice cricket at the school nets during the meeting. Then DS has tutoring, DD babysits DS3 for me, and I teach for 30 mins. Then dinner (roast beef and vege) and DD to girls' cricket training.
I'm planning an early night after last night.

Good Morning Girls!
I've done my morning routine & 2 loads of washing & run the dishwasher last night, emptied it first thing this morning & filled it up again with a bunch of extra dirty dishes, so I need to empty it again.
I want to vacuum & mop, dust & clean the glass doors, call & order hospital equipment for DS & get in the zone. What's for dinner? leftover rissoles, gravy & veg for them, diet beef, cheese & bacon burger for me Baaahahaha that sounds so wrong
Have a great day everyone

Hi Everyone Work day for me today . I'm being a bit lazy and sleeping in half an hour as DH is on holidays and he can do some of the stuff I do in the mornings Ive done a few loads of washing last night and today- mainly towels as I bought new ones for our and the main bathroom- Warning to those with teenagers- some acne creams and hair products have peroxide of something that bleaches hand prints on towels. After work I swept the back porch and got rid of a couple of dead plants and put the pots in the shed. DH mowed, whippersnipped, and weeded in the backyard today so that looks really good Have a Good Night Everyone!! X x
