Good Morning to all the Lovely Ladies

I know I've been in my own world this last week or so, trying to find my new normal.

Judy, lol, no he is not. His wife offered but she works full time and it would mean only doing things on weekend and they are usually very busy on weekends. I will need to get them over to pick what they want soon, I've asked them to think about it. Then they need to remove it themselves. I've said the same to my kids too. I just want everyone to have the things they want/need, and then I can get on with it. It is weighing heavy on me and it feels very overwhelming right now. Sorry Judy, what happened to DMum? I read she is in hospital but missed the why. I hope she is improving, some of those drugs can really mess with appetite and well being despite their helpful effects. Glad to hear Hubby is back safe and sound.

Medusa, I hope you got DD on board yesterday for school and she had a good day and hope you got your errands done.

Hoping everyone else is FLYing along well and going great xoxo

Shellie, I would like to send hugs to you. It is hard to sort out everything and I hope you find a new normal.

Today is an occupational therapy assessment for DD, then a psychologist appointment, so no school, but lots of running around.

Cool change has come! So happy, I don't like it when the temperatures get into the high 30s

Shellie- it will take time to adjust as you were so close to your DM with daily calls and frequent visits and running around for her -hugsX
My DM fell over her electric blanket cord while making her bed. She’s broken her hip and they’ve done a full hip replacement. She’s not frail and came as such a surprise. She called me today and is much brighter as they gave her a blood transfusion yesterday. Medusa, hope all goes well with your appointments and yes cooler today here too. Jilly- wow Im astounded at all you do yourself!! Elasti and Elizabeth- we are going to send out search parties soon!!- hope you are both well
Over the last 2 days(while I was at work) DH has cleaned up and washed every item of DS21s clothing and vacuumed the house. I feel much better that the rooms are tidy again.Last night was fun with our young friends over for dinner.
Today I have a nail appointment at 12, guest bed to strip and remake, mop floors,hair to wash, dry & straighten (yes that a chore, it takes me about an hour!) I want to make a soup with L/O mashed potato and some leeks from our garden and a chicken curry for dinner as well as visit my DM -45 mins drive away

I also need to pack for a weekend away. DHs plan is for me to work with him outside today

Tomorrow is an early start with me having to leave home at 6.15am. Its a busy day and Ill visit DM after work too. She maybe going into rehab at another hospital in the next day or 2

Judy, what a blessing your DH is to have helped in the home. A weekend away sounds lovely I hope you have a wonderful time. I hope and pray your DM is well soon.
