Good Morning to all the Lovely Ladies
Sleep and I are not friends right now. I have tried everything. I had thought it was perhaps the Bronchitis that was making me so restless, but that has well and truly passed now. Feeling completely normal again. But just can't stay asleep. I am sleepy, nodding off on the couch at night, but once I get to bed I am awake and asleep all night. I just need a few hours in a row before I loose my mind. Have woken this morning at 5.30 am with a headache (thankfully my 1st due to lack of sleep), it was midnight before I got to bed (DD17 had a male friend visiting, so I was up 'on duty', she finished her final exam so I let him stay a little longer). My hips hurt if I roll onto my sides (Bursitis I believe) so whether it's that that keeps waking me, or the million thoughts running through my head, or DH snoring (or my own) I don't know, but not even a few wines, Panadol Osteo or my little pill (not all at once I promise) seems to keep me asleep. Very frustrating.
Woke up this morning to find the piece of Marinate Beef (in a bag) I put in the slow cooker at 4.30 yesterday arvo still blipping away on low. Well it's cooked!!!! Hoping it's hasn't turned to mush. Have put it in the fridge now (5.30am) and see if it cuts or crumbs when I slice it cold. That shows how focused I am (never done it before)
Need to do a few things this week.
Shop for an 18th BDay gift (DH & I are invited to DD17's friends 18th) Vac my house Bring garbage home from DMum's (I have a plastic bag on every door handle and cupboard door handle which are now all full) Return washed Kitchen items to DMum's Take some of my DeCluttered items to DMum's to add to the auction Bring more Kitchen items home to toss and wash Tuppleware Meet S-i-L on Friday to collect the rest of their things (hoping one trip will do it)
I am attempting to get back to Dukan this week (fell so far off the wagon, I can't see the wagon train). Fortunately I have mostly maintained my weight loss (was all good until the Christening on Sunday, just pushed it too much and had a little gain on Monday, back to normal this morning), but I have been pretty well eating anything but being aware of portion control (but not actually counting cals), so many carbs have been eaten. I was hoping if I get back on Dukan, then maybe quitting the carbs would help with the no sleep thing. I really hope so.
Ok, so 6.30am, DD17 awake too. If it wasn't raining I'd suggest we go for a walk (haven't been doing that lately either) so that would also help sleep too I think. But at least I can get my day started with worrying about making noise.
Wishing you a Wonderful Wednesday xoxo

Hi Everyone Medusa- i hope the course is helpful for you too! Im hoping to get my WHB done too ( its now 1pm ) Good on you for menu planning Jilly, hopefully I will get into that. I dont yet know what Im doing tonight . Did you finish the loo? Photos? Shellie- Im a bit mad at your DB leaving the majority of the work to you. I know you were expecting that but ooohh. I really dont know what else to suggest about you’re not being able to sleep except ~whisper~ maybe ..menopause Lots of my DGFs suffer with it. I dont know how they cope! You must all be relieved that DD17 has finished her exams! Yesterday i got a lot done outside. Today DH had an early appointment with his chiropractor, and then dropped off my car at the panel shop (bumper bar scratches and dints- no real accident) DS28 came to do some electrics in our garage-been asking 2 years!! and had a coffee with me before i went to pick up DH who then had a couple of errands to do, and of course i had to go too. DD30 came to collect something and we all had a coffee together. She has now left and all I have done is yesterdays folding and unpacked all my clothes from the weekend. So now.. ring DF and see if we are doing dinner tonight or tomorrow, then work out tonight and/or tomorrows dinners, vacuum the whole house, mop the floors, dust, collect mail and deal with it, bring in bins. feed chooks and collect eggs, shower, was, dry and straighten hair, ironing urrghh its becoming the thing to postpone to my to-do list everyday
Hope you are all having a Great Day

Hi there Ladies, I am feeling heartbroken, Joshua just had a bad fit at the shopping center!
But I also feel blessed because so many lovely people looked after him, till Karen one of the most beautiful ladies who works for Coles came and found me.
His eye is all smashed up and his head is so sore but he has been checked out by the paramedics and he has been cleared to come home. Please pray for him as he has not fitted for a year so Josh has taken it really bad please pray for me and Ant to have wisdom in what we say and how we deal with his upset. Love and hugs to all.
