Good Morning Lovely Ladies
I was really flat yesterday. I did have a walk and pottered a bit, but no great strides here I'm afraid.
Today it's Heigh Ho Heigh Ho for me. DD16 has an early class so I will get an early start at work, but I will miss my walk. I have come to the conclusion I probably won't get a walk on work days until it's cool enough to walk in the arvo's.
Judy, I hope you enjoyed your surprise day off and got through your list. I have left you a few questions if you don't mind on the Food Accountability. DH has got the all clear on his blood work so want's to give this diet a go too. So I am just checking my facts before he starts as he won't do the research, but will follow what I tell him to have. But I think he will need larger quantities than I was satisfied with.
Ok best get a move on, typing this Thursday night so I can make a quick start in the morning. Wishing you all a Fabulous Friday.

Good morning Shellie and everyone else to come, hope we slept well.
Not sure the last time I posted but still on annual leave with 5 days left out of 18. My original annual leave 'plan' has not gone to plan, lot's of book & paper work that needed attention and filing that was getting out of hand (note to self: 'steal' Judy's set day and just do it weekly). I did manage 1 whole day focusing on the house and hope today to be another day of housework. Yesterday I met up with a DFriend for coffee before running some errands and doing the grocery shop. Tomorrow I'm off to Hervey Bay to visit a DFriend for the week end, we're having a girly weekend.
Shellie, good to hear DH's blood work is all clear. About your dining room chairs, have you thought about covers, you know like they sometimes have at functions? Hope you have a great day at work. Judy, are you really ready to retire?? Hope you enjoyed dinner with DS20, my DS21 never invited us over for dinner when he had moved out of home but now that he's back he must cook at least twice a week, DH twice a week, me twice a week and one FFY night. We'll see how that goes, last night DS21 made Ceasar salad without the dressing as he's a lot healthier than me. So another day off today??? Enjoy! Medusa, Elizabeth, Elasti, Jilly and all other FLYer's hope you have a great day.
Ok load one has just finished, off now to try to catch up on housework, pack for weekend and make a couple of calls including to DS17, dinner - devilled sausages on mash & veg (sausages prepared yesterday) oh and wash up last nights frypan and bits that need to be hand washed.
Have a great FRIDAY!!!

Morning Shellie and Sys
Today is an at home day, Dfriend and her son will be coming over for a couple of hours to visit, then a quiet day for the rest of the day. I managed a decent night's sleep last night for the first time in a week, so I am feeling the difference.
Hope everyone has a great day

Hi Everyone Shellie- You dont have to spend all day everyday cleaning your house (imagine how you would show us all up!!) You need to have some down days!. Mum dont just work during the day, they are doing dishes and tidying up at night, driving DCs around, so they need to have down time during the day. And you get up so early! I love days of pottering around! You still having such hot weather. We are in for a few days of 25 degrees everyday…perfect! (Just dont expect that means I will walk!! lol) Systems- you certainly haven’t posted much- you’re still a ‘new member according to these boards -just kidding. We do miss you and your news! Im not really ready to retire. Im 52. I would like to drop a day, but it would be easier for all at work if i dropped Tuesdays and thats my favourite day at work. I will just wait and see a bit longer especially as they might have to retrench someone or cut hours. You are doing a great job of balancing your annual leave to get out and enjoy times with DFs and catch up on tasks that have got a bit out of hand while working. I love your cooking dinner arrangement! My DSiL does that with her DS and he has to pay 1/3 of all the bills. (he is 32 yo) Medusa- thats great that you finally got some decent sleep- it makes all the difference. DH is on leave at the moment too and isn’t going to bed until midnight every night. Silly me has been reading in bed until he joins me and its too late for me We had a nice night with DS20, his DGF and his DHouseMates. He cooked a perfect roast pork on the spit bbq and did mashed potato/sweet potato, steamed beans and carrots. They dont have a dining table and the house, although big, doesn’t lend itself to even have one that isn’t in a walkway area. They are thinking of putting one in the bedroom next to the kitchen.
FRIDAY Ta Das dressed, made bed and coffee
To Dos Breakfast, feed and water pony, feed chooks and collect eggs, load of washing (?) decide what is for dinner and take out meat Dust, vacuum and mop whole house, S&S all bathrooms Dinner, dishes, shine sink
That doesn’t sound a lot so Ill see how I go and will probably find something else to do (not as if I will have to look hard lol)
Have a Great Day Girls!! x x
