Good Morning to all the Lovely Ladies
Well, it's official, I am no longer the Mum of School aged Children. There goes my last excuses not to join the work force!!!!! I am guessing that come the new year I may be back with DH 1 or 2 mornings a week. We will see.
DD17 has finished all exams, signed out of school and firmly planted herself in front of the Sims. I am trying to encourage her to get part time job hunting straight away as she will be up against a lot of other school leavers and Uni students on break or finished. The whole prospect scares her a little.
DD21 had her Oral presentation of her Honors program yesterday. Seems like it went well, so just a few more criteria to meet then she will be finished her degree (with Honors). Someone mentioned yesterday that she should follow the same line of research if she continues with her Masters. Which I am guessing means her Mentors (lecturers) think she should do Masters. We will see. She is another one that needs to find at least a part time job. She has applied for a few temporary positions for Dietitians at the hospital opposite her flat but she needs anything in the mean time to survive. (TNB isn't going to pay all the bills for ever)
DS22 is plodding along part time at Uni, and it's really dragging out. Still has next year to go, and 10 weeks of that will be Prac, so won't be working to support himself. I think right now he's just saving madly and working as many extra hours as he can.
Today I am meeting S-i-L at Mum's to collect all the things they left behind on the weekend. Not that they got alot, but they had a wheelchair and a walker in a small car so couldn't fit much in. Nephew had an empty car, took 3 boxes for himself and then left without filling his car with Brothers things. Kids these days!!!!!!
Have slept better last 2 nights, not perfect and certainly not 8hrs in a row, but woke up only twice and was able to fall back asleep quickly. Dukaning quite well, so I think it's down to those pesky Carbs not sitting well with my body and preventing sleep. Will continue Dukaning and see what happens. I also think I need to get back to exercise. Hoping from tomorrow I can at least get 30mins in a day. Just been too unmotivated lately, but really need to. Not just for weight loss, but all over health and well being. I think it's better for my hips to be moving (the rest certainly hasn't cured anything).
Ok, time to get a move on. Sun is trying so I'll do a load or 2 before I go out. Wishing you all a Fabulous Friday and a Wonderful Weekend ahead xoxo
