Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Remember me? lol
Things are chugging along here. I attempted to get all my Christmas wrapping finished yesterday, fell a little short, still have the little niece and nephew's to wrap (had actually asked DD17 but she fell short) and 2 outdoor chairs to wrap which have to wait until closer to the day.
I got washing up to day yesterday, just a little ironing left to do.
Today I am planned a WHB, then tomorrow we have a BBQ to go to which will be nice.
I hope all is going well with everyone and you are getting ready for next week.
Wishing you all a Superb Saturday and a Wonderful Weekend.

Hi Everyone Shellie- I think I do remember you from ‘way back” lol. Good to hear from you! Glad you had a good party Medusa. Today I just wanted DH to make up guest room and move tables together as we are having our family Christmas tomorrow. He did both those requests and Ive set the table for tomorrow as much as I can. It looks lovely with red tablecloths, white napkins with a silver stripe, a silver and white runner with embroidered silver stars and red or white bon-bons. Ive also done a quick 'snack’ shop for tomorrow (I can’t do it too early or I snack on them before the day!! ) and folded washing and done some more that is now on the line. Our weather here has been extreme the last couple of days and today was predicted to be 41 degrees in Melbourne, we are usually a bit hotter than Melbourne in hot weather and colder in Winter. Today there was a bushfire pretty close to us (3/4ks?) DH helped our friend whose partner was uncontactable and she was panicking as they have 50 acres and lots of horses agisted there. They couldn’t evacuate the horses because there were too many and the roads were all blocked. We are near a major highway and its the only road to Warburton. We were advised on extreme days to leave the valley for the day, because if there is a fire the road is jammed with traffic. Its all good now but we are expecting 29 degrees overnight- our hottest December night on record (previous being 26.6) DH is now on afternoon shift so poor guy will be exhausted. Tomorrow we are doing Christmas lunch as both DH and DDiL (nurse in Emergency department) are working Christmas day. Im as organized as I can be and DH and and I were wondering- on a really hot day- 39 again tomorrow- is it better to put the oven on lower and have a slow cooked lamb roast or have the oven hotter for shorter amount of time and do normal lamb roast??? We do have evaporative cooling so its not going to be too hot in the house. I will do a quick vacuum in the morning and S&S all bathrooms after washing and drying my hair- Im hoping one of the girls will straighten it as my finger will be sore after doing so much moving around- dont know that i can trust DH lol
Have a Great Weekend Everyone!! x x
