Hi Everyone We had my extended family Christmas yesterday so I too am ready for a quieter day. DH, on the other hand, is all go,go go!! For some reason we have no church today. They do this every year and I just can’t figure it out. Low numbers? People away? We did have a Christmas eve service? Anyway we decided not to go elsewhere but to stay at home. We have had a lovely couple of backpackers here since Wednesday. They had nowhere to go. People didn’t seem to want strangers over Christmas. But as our Chrstimas celebrations were the Sunday before and Boxing day, we said they were welcome to come but it would be a low key day with only DD30 and her family staying in the afternoon with our sons possibly dropping in at some stage. Yesterday when we went out all day I had them do my floors . Today DH has them working hard in the hot house- they’ve had 2 full days here of doing nothing at all and they weather is a lot cooler today. Ive cleaned up the kitchen and done a few dishes and folded all my washing from the last couple of days. Now I intend on doing some ironing in front of telly as long as my finger is up to it (it really looks a mess with a big cut the length of it and a ‘hole’ at the top and bottom of finger with my knuckle a little swollen and red. Im taking the bandages off after dinner so it can breathe but bandaging it during the day and overnight so it doesn’t get knocked or bumped. Also bandaged when in company-particulary at meal times!! After today I still have a week off work. Im thinking of washing my outside windows and doing one day in each ZONE. Obviously not everything will get done in the ZONE but I feel I need to start somewhere and now I have an extra day a fortnight Im hoping to at least do some ZONE work regularly again- Its been too long and Im not feeling the cleanliness I used to a couple of years ago. Well I hope you are all enjoying these relaxing days and the kids are playing happily with their new toys!
Have a Great Day Ladies!! x x

Judy - we had low numbers, some churches decide to not have services on which confuses me too.
