Mine is to earn $100,000 in my business (I'm a pet minder) To upgrade property to expand business and lifestyle Would love to go on a cruise and a few other trips and have another baby if we do move house! And to keep up flying EVERY day!

2016 Goals
I am still pretty one note of my goals. Lets face it, 2016 is all about ME!!!! (Same goals as 2014, 2015 was not so much about me)
From today I would like to lose 15kgs by Christmas Day 2016 Improve my fitness We have a trip to Melbourne in January, my goal is to meet Judy Also planning a girls trip to Lovedale Long Lunch Also planning some renovations, have been planning some time, but finally going to follow through

Great goals girls. I want my house to be comfortable and company ready in every room by the end of 2016. To meditate for a minimum of 10 mins every day. Anything else is a bonus and gratefully received Jac

Thanks Shellie thanks Jac. Last night I had a great possible boost to my income goal someone wants four cats boarded with me for a year to 18 months, so that's almost a quarter of the way there already! I was meant to email her today but for some reason I'm procrastinating. How crazy of me! :/

Allstar- how many children do you have? Shellie- ill do all I can to help you with the goal of meeting up with me!!
Ive dropped a day a fortnight work in 2016 so Iām planning on getting into the ZONE work again. Id also like to exercise again- even if its just walking. Also, and its a biggie for me- I want to be more involved with home renovations or repair and maintenance. Ive always left it to DH. This year we renovated a rental property and I did a lot of painting so i know I can do more of that here too Jac, meditation is a good one. I want to do my devotions more regularly too- everyday might be too much of an expectation but even if its just on the days I dont work?!

My main goals this year- to keep improving my mental health to find balance to stop procrastinating
I think if I focus on these, lots of other things should fall into place.

I have been thinking about this, my psych wanted me to be able to sum up years with one word, I Have the past 5 years done, and this year I would like "progress" Progress with DD's therapies Progress with getting DD's school to do the right accommodations for her disability I would like to progress my abilities in photography and cake decorating (my hobbies) I would like to make progress in making a photo book for each year that DD is alive (have done 2 so far)
And I am sure there are other things, but that is what i have so far

Thanks for starting the thread, Melissa and thanks for sharing, ladies.
I have some serious work goals as I tend to over empathise with others' stress and try to be all things to all people - a surefire way to burn out.
So my work focus is to be a better observer and create space so I can consider what is doable (not take on too much); what is reasonable (am I getting paid for this? ); what is appropriate (is it part of my job description or should someone else be doing it?); beneficial (are there benefits for my career, my team, my professional reputation?) I am hoping that will help me balance what I take on.
My next big focus is on self-care. I had a wake up call at the GP with high blood pressure for the first time in my life. She was awesome - no shaming, just recommendations to increase exercise, decrease animal fats, work on better balance at work (suggested I take a holiday when kids were at school so I could really relax - I love this woman!). So I'm aiming for 3 x gym a week and have managed that since the week before Christmas, carrying my water bottle all the time (I tend to snack when I'm thirsty), and eat more mindfully. My review is in April so I'm hoping that small changes will be enough to see improvement.
