Hi Lovely Ladies, remember me?
I am back form an exhausting but fun trip to Melbourne. Quite literally shopped till I dropped. We also visited the Zoo, a 4D cinema (with 3D movie, moving seats, snow machine, wind machine and rain - we were actually wet when we left) which was really fun, lots of takeaway meals and a few really nice meals too and a Cabaret/Burlesque Show (which was really fun but a little bit naughty). It was fantastic to catch up with Judy, you were just as you seem online, friendly and lovely. Judy and I also caught up with Bev who was lots of fun.
Since I've been home I have caught up on all washing (so happy DD21 takes her washing home to her place now), changed/washed the sheets and towels. Put folding away and grocery shopped for some very healthy salad/fruit and proteins. It was amazing how quickly I got sick of takeaway food in Melbourne (although the girls seems pretty happy), I found a great salad place so trying to copy some of their ingredients since we got home.
Also since we got home I have had the feeling like I'm on a gently rocking boat. I am fine while moving either walking or in the car, but when sitting and lying down, it's like 'ahoy me hearties'.
Anyway, today is Hubby's day off, he will be taking DD18 to Centerlink to organize her student payments as she got into Uni to do a Bachelor of Psychology Degree, I will be heading out with DD21 (coming for a visit for the day) to organize rego on her car. It was Mum's car so we need to do a rego transfer.
Then I guess Tuesday I will give the house a good clean and start packing for our trip on Sunday. Hubby has a 2 day training course 10mins from Sys's house, so we are both heading up, then driving to Brisbane for a night or two, then flying home. As you all know, this is not my normal life, so I am super excited to have some time away with just Hubby. I little concerned about leaving DD18 but big brother is 5mins up the road and good friends are just around the corner so I'm sure she will get by.
Anyway, might go now and do some ironing. Wishing you all a Marvelous Monday.
