Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Yesterday was a pretty relaxed day. DH stepped up big time and transported DD16 to and from town and back to school after the mock trial (for Legal Studies class) and then gave her a driving lesson to dance class. Oh and he even cooked the steaks/chicken sausages/chick thighs on the BBQ. I did the prep and clean up of course and then did the after dance pick up and then took another dancer home.
Today, no replacement has been found for me, so it's 'heigh ho heigh ho' for me. Not sure what else will get done beyond cooking dinner. And exercise in the afternoon.
Wishing you all a terrific Tuesday xoxo

Hi Everyone Shellie- do you not plan on working there anymore at all? Iām glad DH is doing a bit more and so he should now that you are a working gal! Enjoy your day at work. I do usually work a Tuesday but one of my colleagues needs to have a small procedure tomorrow so we have swapped shifts. Easily done when DH is home on holidays as he will look after DGD1. Although I miss out on my day with her they are coming to dinner Thursday night-will probably be every Thursday and I might pop in for a quick visit today. We had a lovely 4 days away and Im getting used to returning and finding the house as I left it. I will soon love being an empty nester!! So today..

To Dos Feed and water pony, feed chooks, collect eggs, empty dw, S&S 3 bathrooms, empty car and unpack bags, load washing on, pick some roses from our garden and pretty up my house, Do some folding and all the ironing, hang out washing, another load on?? empty all rubbish bins and bring big bins to kerb get petrol and pick up dog, visit DD29?? Dinner, dishes, shine sink, clothes and lunch ready for tomorrow
Whats for Dinner? DH is doing something in the slow cooker- I think venison
There is not a lot on my list today. I am hoping DH is doing some more painting prep of DS27s old room or staining doors in the toilet/bathroom/laundry area- last thing to do from our renovations that were done OVER A YEAR AGO!
Hope you all Have a Great Day!! x x

Just wondering where yesterday went?
Hi Shellie, Hope you have a good day at work.
Hi Medusa, (((Hugs))) Hope that migraine gets the boot soon.
Hi Judy, Love the flower picture - thank you! Yay to coming home to a tidy house. So glad you enjoyed your trip.
This morning I decided to do a good clean up - it's just getting me down and I have guests tonight. The kitchen is looking shiny again now - a good start.
It's also productive procrastination. I'm trying to clear my head so I can really focus on some work. Next week I'm away with DD's cricket carnival so have hired a car so I'll work when she's not playing - that's the plan anyway. And being away I figure that's one kid, no meals, no cleaning (except clothes washing - will try to keep those cricket whites, white) - should be a breeze.
I'm also decluttering my office. There are rugs that I've made for charity that need 6 labels sewn on and then they can go! Why is it taking me months to sew on 6 labels?
Dinner is BBQ and DH will cook a chocolate cake for DCiLs (second DCiL is now down here studying and it's her 18th tomorrow so we're having a little 'family' party).
This afternoon is DS8 to the podiatrist, pick up DS3, DS8's music lesson, then DS8 to soccer. Will get meat and a pre-made potato bake from Woolies and a pre-mix salad. DCiL is on college food, so any home-cooked meal should be an improvement.
Wishing you a terrific Tuesday.

Morning! Well, barely still morning for me as it's almost noon here - you guys must be almost into Wednesday. Hope your Tuesdays went well! Still lots to do (all the usual Tuesday stuff plus all the stuff I didn't manage to get done yesterday plus some extras...) but feeling a lot better for having got so many jobs done or partly done yesterday. Thanks for cheering me on! Here's today's list: Empty dishwasher Get children up & off to school Get new frames for son's glasses Speak to school to get phone no. for school nurse Pay cheques into bank Library 10 mins on exercise bike Vacuum and mop kitchen floor Empty kitchen bin ShowerTrip to supermarket Catch up on work stuff Put away remaining laundry (inc. sheets from dryer) Phone insurance company to get them to send my marriage certificate back E-mail my mother E-mail childminder Ironing Packed lunches for children and for me for tomorrow Write more of blog post Pick children up from school on time Spend time with kids Get to bed at a decent hour So, that's a good start, though running late because of the extra stuff I had to do this morning. Time to head to the supermarket, then lunch when I get back, then I'll see what else I can get done. Catch you guys later.

Thanks, Elizabeth!
Have now been to the supermarket, had lunch, phoned the insurance company (currently waiting for their callback) and got as far as I can with the packed lunches without checking with the children. Just over 20 mins before I pick the kids up, so I'll go & get on with some work stuff.
