Hi Everyone Medusa, Im glad DH is ok. Yesterday was my fortnightly Tuesday off. I went to my Womens Group from church and then did a little shopping before mowing lawns and going to DGD3s swimming lesson. The weather was just gorgeous and I also did a load of washing Today is my WHB day and I want to finish mowing the back lawn that I started but didn’t finish yesterday. Ill also hang the load of lights I washed last night and do DS22’s towels today as the weather is again just perfect- 29 degrees!! I dont know whats for dinner yet. DS22 is giving me the s$%ts runaround, letting me know at lunchtime when I’m at work, that he and his DGF are coming for dinner. Err Im not home til 6pm and can’t take more meat out to defrost before then. Then yesterday he said he would be home and then left to go out just before dinner and so didn’t eat it..grrr. Yes, i know -just dont cook for him until he gets the idea, but DH cannot do that and will rustle something up for anyone at the last minute. He’s much nicer than I am!!
Have a Great day Ladies!! x x

Good Morning to all the Lovely Ladies
Well, the Auction is over and the house is cleared and cleaned and the new owner has moved in. What a huge day Sunday was - 10hrs I was there, we had a 1hr viewing of Auction items, then 4+ hours of actual Auction - running boxes which were on display inside to the 'show table' outside and back again, 276 individual 'LOTS'. Had all 4 kids there (including TNB) and Hubby after he finished work. Plus the Auctioneer, his off-sider and 2 girls who registered and were cashiers. What a team. If the goal was to clear the house, well we achieved it. The buyers on the day had 'short arms and long pockets', I guess it's the risk we took, you need 2 people interested in the same item for it to be competitive, it wasn't. It would have been financially better to have a garage sale or to have tried selling things on facebook for the last 6 months (we paid out $500 on advertising in the newspaper and the girl who bought most read it on facebook), but as they say "hindsight is a wonderful thing" then 2-3hrs collecting purchased items for each buyer and clearing the house then loading our vehicles with leftovers then a couple of hours to clean up a huge mess created on the floors by 50+ people walking through the place - the new owner was there and the look on his face when he saw the floors dirty was so sad but great to see how happy he was after I had got my powerhead vac onto them. Also as we tried to use trolley to move the fridge it left huge black tracks on the floor - thankfully DD22 and I managed to scrub it off with hand soap and hand towels (all we had left - we sold the cleaning products)
SO......that's done.
Now I am trying to find my NORMAL
Trying to get back to routines, concentrate on ME - weight loss, health, exercise, relax time, etc plus get this house back into Normal.
I am giving myself a few days break to just bring things back up slowly, then I am going to try to clear my garage of leftover items so I can get the car back in there. Will try a few things on facebook buy/sell local pages and the rest to either extended family (1 have a box or each of 3 cousins) and DD22 wants to have another look, some sheets for a GF, then the rest will go to Vinnies.
Thank you all so much for your support, even though I haven't been real regular here, I do see you comment and support me and I am so grateful. Will do my best to be more regular from now on.
JUDY - KIDS!!!!! - DD18 is a real pain when it comes to dinner time, we have had to make ''MORE'' rules regarding dinner time than when she was little. Ridiculous. As she lives at home we have now explained she is expected for and will be planned to have her here EVERY NIGHT for dinner, if she doesn't let me know before about 10am then whatever she is doing she MUST be home for dinner, then she can go do else she wants.
I have started a new 'Way of Eating', similar to Dukan but more strict, in that there is counting/weighing/measuring involved. KETOGENIC - Moderate PROTEIN, MODERATE FAT, LOW CARB (but at least it's veg every day) and I can have Avocado again. Am heading in the right direction despite it being a stressful and emotional couple of weeks.
