Good Morning Ladies
Doing a 'night before' post so I can get an early start in the morning. Wanting to get my walk in before school drop off.
Judy, DS21 is moving out of home. As he is back at Uni now he can't work on Thursday's for DH, so he has replaced me on Friday's as he still wants the money. So now I have my Friday's back, unless he has something better to do, I think there are a couple of one off Friday lectures and there will be placement at some stage too. I was only joking about being replaced completely. This is what happens when you go traveling, you miss important info like when I am or am not working. lol
So today, it's early walk for me, then getting stuck into this house. I have been on a bit of a 'go slow' this last week. Well it's not like I haven't done anything, I just haven't done some of the house things. Today is THE day to get things back under control and ship shape. I have decluttered some (well donated to the DS21 moving out of home fund), I knew I was holding onto those saucepans, cutlery and glasses for some very good reason. He also jagged a toaster and a brand new slow cooker. I bought it as a present for DMum, but then realized she really wouldn't use it and it would be difficult for her to lift. So DS21 grabbed a bargain.
Speaking of bargains. Yesterday DH and I went to Woolworths and picked up a Shannon Ponton Exercise set. Price displayed on the shelf was $21. After I went through the check out I realized they had 'overcharged' me at $30. I queried this with the service desk, staff and I went to see and it was indeed labelled $21. Well as it turns out Woolworths has an awesome policy, if they overcharge you the shelf price, they give you the item for FREE. Free exercise equipment. Go Shellie. So, moral of the story, check your receipts. It has happened to me several times before, the funniest was the $79 piece of roast beef, real price $25, so I got that for free too.
Anyway, that's my life story.lol. Wishing you all a Wonderful Wednesday. I hope your week is going to plan.
Elizabeth, make some time to 'network' and have fun with the other parents on the cricket trip, all work and no play makes Elizabeth a dull girl .
