It is almost June! Today DD is going to swimming lessons, DH will take her and then take her for some recreational swimming. So I will be home alone for a while Because of the busy week I have been more slack with at home stuff, I have been getting home for a late lunch each day and then I lose motivation to get back up again and get moving. Shellie - when will your Dad move into the home? Hope everyone enjoys the weekend

Hi Medusa and anyone else to come
Dad will move on Monday. I am trying to gather a couple of his mates to collect his things from his house and get them to me to label things and get him what he needs.
I looked in the bag of clothes currently at the hospital that SDaughter bought him in (under sufferance), OMG, it must have taken her twice the time to locate the most stained, faded, oversized or bleach stained clothes she could find. It is beyond my comprehension how this chick got so venomous. The hospital gave them a very clear list - but instead she bought 3 prs of shorts (at the end of May) and only 1 pr of bleach stained track pants and not one thing matches anything else in the bag. It is so clearly intentional.
I am currently writing wife a letter requesting things for the Nursing home. I have written a sentence to say I thought it was wise to only send old and stained items in as things always get lost in hospital. I would hate to think that SDaughter felt she had a 'win' over me. I have also mentioned in letter that I am sure that when wife visits nursing home that she will feel happier to see him in nice matching clean clothes.
Seriously, the way SDaughter whinged about doing his washing, you would think she would have been better at it. I know that some elderly people can get a little grubbier than others, but regular washing, spraying stains and soaking things can ACTUALLY get those stains out. I wonder should I pass on some handy home tips to my "Step Sister"
Anyway, hoping it soon settles down and life can return to the new normal.
