Wednesday
B - Sliced Chicken (Slow Cooked Garlic Chicken), coffee S- 2 DUKAN piklets topped with Light Philly, Chicken, MustardL- 2 DUKAN piklets with Light Philly and Vegemite, S- 1 tablespoon Ice Cream, coffee, slice of Deli Roast Pork D- Chicken thigh, cottage cheese S- Low Cal Jelly with bran and 2 tablespoons Vanilla Low fat yoghurt My weight loss has slowed a little (to be expected I suppose). Down total of 3.4 Kgs, and I am happy with that. I know it says 'eat as much as you need', but I have had grilled salmon yesterday and it is just too high fat I think. Plus I had the Lamb and Pork the day before. And I think I have eaten too much of all of it, so I will be more thoughtful of that today and hope to get back on track for an amazing week.
We are going to a 18th on Saturday night. Kids all grew up together from same playgroup/preschool so I want to have lost the most weight possible by then. Saturday will be my 1st PV day so I can have salad. But I am not planning on the cake, I'd rather have a piece of fruit at this stage. This will extent my Attack Phase just a little (an extra day).

Oh Shellie- I am so pleased. You have been working so hard- you deserve it. Im sure it had to happen sooner or later.Dont expect tp keep losing that much at that rate! Yesterday my scales were down by 400grams and this morning they were the same. I went out last night and did taste eat some things the consultants made at the cooking class. Today I just had half a scone at the morning tea and I’ve been good the rest of the day Tomorrow we are going to DS20s for dinner. Goodness only knows what we will be eating there!!! LOL

A few questions?
When I start 'Cruise Phase' I am planning 1PV/1PP rotation. If I don't feels it's working, how long to I have to wait to swap to 2/2 or 3/3 or 4/4?
Is there a limit to how much low fat Vanilla Yoghurt, low fat cottage cheese and low fat Philadelphia Cream Cheese I can eat? I have been trying to keep these to a minimum.
AND.... is it right, do I have to stick to 1.5 tablespoons oat bran for phase 1 but can go to 2 tablespoons for phase 2? And can I add the wheat bran during phase 1. I MISS REGULARITY (too much info?? (rofl)Sorry)
Seriously I am ready to do whatever it takes. I want this weight GONE!!!!!
BTW, I do intend to buy the books soon, just waiting to get into a book store that has them in stock. I know there is a few, did you buy all or just the main diet one?

Im probably the wrong person to ask these questions. I tend to make the diet work for me. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we had guests or were out for dinner so we did PV days. Monday and Friday we were home so did PP days. I think you can change at any time. I have the Dukan Diet book on my iPad so its a bit hard to ‘flick’ thru to find answers to all your questions. Natural yogurts are unlimited- fruit yogurts only 2 a day (avoid if weight stagnates) I buy the Forme brand as i found that to have lowest fat and sugar. I buy the 5% philly cheese as that seems to be the lowest you can have 2tbs bran in Cruise phase For your other problem (not TMI- it is a problem on this diet for all of us!) you can add a a tablespoon of wheat bran flakes to your oat bran, Also drink lots and lots of water. If you need to go to the health food shop for some natural products such as slimmers tea. Dukan does say to do something about it and not to suffer.
I do recommend buying or reading the book as he explains the whys and wherefores of the diet
I have lost 2.8 and am pretty pleased with that- to be honest I only have to lose another 800gr and Ill be at my “true” weight but one more kilo would be my best weight. It does get harder to lose that final bit
So how come i can do this so easily when I’m “on a diet” and can’t just have the occasional treat and stay the same weight all the time. its either all or nothing with me

You will be happy to know I have finally got 'The Dukan Diet' book today. Decided to try the St Vincent De Paul Op Shop before I went to a book store and found it. Also picked up copies of Dr Phil's The Ultimate Weight Solution (working on the mind too) and In the Meantime, Finding yourself and the Love you want. Plus SPEED CLEANING by Shannon Lush. So I am all set now

So not a good day for me diet wise carrot cake with cream cheese icing for breakfast white homemade bread with butter and vegemite for lunch chips and sparking wine for afternoon snack pizza and diet coke for dinner i guess the scales will let me know the damage in the morning But I didn't open the box of chocolate favourites one of the guys gave me tomorrow will be a PP day - no eating the left over pizza for breakfast Judy!!!!!

Today was my 1st PV day. Funny I think I like the PP days better. I find decisions easier and prep easier too.
We went to an 18th Bday party tonight. Chinese for dinner. No Dim Sims or Spring Rolls,No Rice, No, Alcohol, No Cake. I did have Satay Chicken and Veg, Some nice Beef and Veg Dish, Honey Chicken (with batter) and Sweet and Sour Pork (with batter) and veg. Avoided the pineapple. Did the best I could under the circumstances. Drank heaps of water.
Tomorrow is a PP day for me and DH has decided to get on board too. He of course doesn't have as much weight to loss as me, so will be on to next phases much quicker. And of course as has always happened, I will do all the planning and prep, he will loss weight quicker and everyone will notice him and his loss and never notice mine. We have been through this multiple times before. It gets a little disheartening, but I am bracing myself for it this time.

You are doing so well Shellie! Cant believe that I went away for 4 days and put on 2 kilos!! We did sit in the car a lot! (did 2500kms!) I did have 2 glasses of wine each night and dessert 3 times..so thats how it happens! Oh well one day after being home I lost 400grams again but today I’ve been so hungry i haven’t stuck to my PP day at all. So PV tomorrow!!

Week 4 Picked these up at Coles today. Square is 12cm, round is 9cm. Thought square might be handy to make Dukan Toast and round to make some desserts. Only $2.10 each. They are microwave and oven safe.

Woohoo Shellie! You're doing so well! WTG My diet has been pretty dreadful overall here for quite a while (don't ask) but starting over fresh today & needing to get back into exercising regularly. I couldn't run to the front door if the house was on fire right now. I'm going to have to rethink cooking/prepping meals for DH/DD & me seperately. My health is my problem, not theirs. I have a few ideas that should work I just need to keep myself organised & on top of my game. i read this the other day- I'M WORKING ON MYSELF FOR MYSELF BY MYSELF. yep. I need to do that.
