Glad to hear you are putting ALL your 'a$$' into it Elasti . You were amazing last time you put your mind to it. And hun, if you are anything like me, once those numbers start to go down it will lift your spirits and your motivation.
There have been days were I haven't been '*erfect', I haven't necessarily written it down but I've had a cookie, or a cracker or a couple of Pringles just to 'get me through' but for the most part I'm not hungry, bored maybe, emotional sometimes but not hungry.
I've tried my best to create some variety as well as trying to make the protein fit with what the kids are having so it cuts back the work load. That doesn't always work out, and I find having to prepare DH tomorrows lunch, today a bit of a pain. He's not the biggest fan of salad, let alone salad that doesn't have dressing so we are going for veggies more often, he can use the work microwave. He will have salad with a BBQ but doesn't find it satisfying with chicken pieces. For the most part I am trying to cook extra veg for the kids on our PP Day so we have them ready for PV Day (the next day). We have also got the whole 'fish on Friday' things we are doing for lent, so that's a factor when using up leftovers. But I am getting there.
I can't say it enough how grateful I am that you and Judy kept mentioning Dukan and the help you have both been since I started. Thank you.

As for putting ALL of my a$$ into it, there's plenty of it!!!
You're doing so well, it's great that your DH is on board, I really wish mine was.
This diet is really a lot of planning, organising & being mindful. I think you might be able to find a salad dressing that DH likes that's probably not 0 carbs, but really low carb? A little drizzle can make things more bearable.

I haven’t been in here for a while and you probably know why. Even after DH said he will be completely on board with Dukan- he’s not! I said i needed to do it properly or just eat healthy food as its taking too long to get to our goal weight. Yesterday he made meringues for dessert (with enough for tonight as well) and for dinner he made schnitzel parmajama (thanks Elizabeth for the spelling i just couldn’t get it lol) they were crumbed and had cheese on top- delicious~sigh. But I can’t really blame him as I haven’t been sticking to it either. It should be illegal to sell fundraising chocolates at work!! Anyway i dont go to work til Tuesday and i think our house is pretty junk free atm so even tho tonights meal has potato and meringue Im going to do much better during the day and need to be more like you girls and plan my snacks. I’m pretty good with meals but I get hungry about 3-4pm and start devouring whatever is not nailed down! DH was late home 3 nights this week and dinner was a bit late. But I can’t blame him i have to be accountable to and for myself. I didn’t weigh myself this morning -It won’t be good, but i will tomorrow and will once again put it in my phone and keep good track of my weight each day and plan my food. it won’t be Dukan but will still have low carbs- usually. We are also having backpackers come to stay on Tuesday for 2 weeks, so our meals will have to be good for them too. They are working for us and we can’t expect them to be carb free but we will do healthy. I will be working for 2-3 weeks full time so i will make sure I have healthy morning and afternoon tea at work too.

Judy - don't be disheartened. If you know you get hungry at 3pm, cut it off at the pass & maybe have something easy already prepared, like a boiled egg & a small container of veggies (cherry tomatoes, celery sticks, low fat cheese cubes, that sort of finger food?) & a diet coke or something. I know it's really hard when sabotage is all around you, but you can do it.

That is a really good idea to bring a diet coke to work. I sometimes have one after work and before dinner...and I sometimes raid the huge jelly bean jar at work at about 3 pm. Come on, who has jelly beans and jelly babies by the huge bagfuls and can resist them? Not me, and once I start..... The diet coke will satisfy that sugar craving! Thanks Elasti! X So I weighed in this morning, not good but not as bad as it could be. Dinner tonight is non- vegetarian cannelloni and carrot cake for dessert. We are brining dinner to busy friends and eating with them. Ill have scrambled eggs for lunch with salmon and I had a smoothie for breakfast

You are doing so well Shellie!! Im not doing Dukan ATM but am trying to eat healthy.Im good with my meals and having a fruit/veggie smoothie for breakfast and a no-carb lunch. Dinner is always pretty healthy although we are having carbs as we have DBPs with us (they cooked spaghetti cabanara last night - but was yum! ) I love the diet coke idea of Elastis and I only pigged out one afternoon on jellybeans Ive lost a little and am maintaing that this week. Haven’t done much walking. A bit hard when you work everyday and have Backpackers arriving -Tues, Home Group-Wed, Kids for Dinner-Thurs. With Daylight savings its going to be too dark after work and theres no way I can get up early before work!! So I will have to make an effort on the weekend and once I get back to my normal part-time hours I will walk on my days off. I did mow all the back lawn on Monday so thats a bit of a workout for me.The DBPs are going to paint our spare room and when thats all done we will set up the treadmill- hopefully my feet will be alright on that- I will take it slowly. Continue to keep us informed of how you are doing Shell!

So after just 3 meals away from the diet (and several champagnes and a barcardi) and fruit and bread and not having my Oat bran for several days, I have gained .6kg . But it was worth it. Planning to get this back in the next day or two. Going Attack for the next 3 days to kick start things moving again.
