Thanks Shellie - I tend to complicate things for myself, but the making my own meals then adding to them for the others is a great idea. i think if I did everything for DH it would be a whole lot easier but he likes to 'help' or 'have input' as well. (Really he's a control freak like me & neither of us like being told what to do). So I'll concentrate on me & let him do his own thing. Happiness all round then! Skinny Cow Ice Cream- we buy the little containers, I usually only have a half serve over the 'Choc Brownie' I make. BUT Last night I did have a WHOLE TUB , I was a bit unorganized and really didn't have a proper lunch or dinner so though a little extra Ice Cream wouldn't hurt. I buy the lowest cal ones (no marshmallows or cookies and cream) The ice blocks are just next to my little tubs at my grocery)
DH is quite happy to sit back and 'be served'. He just go sick of not being about to make his own choices, so I ask him 'what he wants' and then sometimes he can't decide....MEN!!!! Sometimes he does have a very clear idea, and I think he must have been 'craving' whatever it is for awhile.
I am a little concerned for him on Phase 3 as he's not one to plan ahead or write things down, or tell me stuff so I will need to be on his back a little (FUN!!) but I am happy with my new and improved hubby so it's worth the effort. I am thinking his PP day should be a Sunday or Monday as he loves a BBQ and can be here to cook it those days. I am guessing it's not the worst thing to have a floating PP Day. I think one of his celebration meals will the Thursday lunch as his DDad calls into work that day and they like to go to lunch. Other than that we will have to 'wing it'.
Yesterday after the Dr, DH suggested we go for breakfast which was great. Had poached eggs and bacon, skim cap. It was nice and a bit of a treat for us. Then he said 'lets go and check out those Elliptical Machines at Workout World up the road', so we did. They have a good deal on a Reebok one atm, so I think DH is sold on it. We both tried it out, it didn't hurt my foot and it didn't hurt his knee. So in about 2 or 3 weeks we should have it. YAY!!!!!! I've only wanted on for about 8yrs. Back then I use to go to the gym and my fav machine was the Elliptical.
Ok time to get the bed made and a "Load a Day' on and onto the Treadmill, if I don't get it done early, I just don't get it done. Have a great day and keep up the great work.

I think a floating PP day would probably work, if it's Sunday one week & Monday the next I don't think it would do any harm?? I think the celebration meals are anytime except they can't be back to back meals, like lunch & then dinner the same day.
I tried the jelly & cottage cheese dessert yesterday & it was pretty good. I had a dollop of yogurt on top to tone down the artificial sweetener taste in the jelly. I also went through my wardrobe & separated everything into now - ' good lord that's so ugly', next - 'not bad, getting nicer there' & later 'well hello, I have a waist'
Today I want to go through & do the same for my winter clothes that I just took out of a storage box, make a quiche for myself & plan meals for the next day or so.

I have never noticed the artificial sweetener taste from the Aeroplane Low Joule Jelly. But I can't stand any of the artificial sweeteners that I bought to cook with.

Thursday 22 B: oatbran & wheat bran porridge S: L: S: D: i need to figure out where to fit in walking, Hey Elasti, try not to stress too much about 'no loss again dangnammit', remember you have been on this before and started and stopped a few times recently so your body is just trying to work out what the hell is going on. Give it time.
Now do you have a food plan for the rest of the day, or are you 'winging' it as each meal comes along. That could be a problem. Also TOTM, and yes the walking. I did walk daily in the beginning, then missed for ages in the middle with my sore foot, and have began again this last week. I feel it has ramped things up again as I had a few weeks of not even losing 1kg in the week (which seems to be my average)
I over ate yesterday, not the wrong food, but I have the yummiest salmon steak and chicken thigh dinner, had been looking forward to it all day. Well I couldn't stop and had to eat the whole huge piece of salmon then I felt I swallowed a bone or scale so had to force the rest of the chicken down to make sure the bone went down all the way. Then I was truly stuffed. So I haven't lost weight this morning either, but I am holding so that's good, considering my TOTM is almost upon me. Plus I'm waiting for the Oat Bran to take effect, I cooked yesterday, Dukan Digestive Biscuits (THEY LIED) and Dukan Brownie (my recipe - Yum) so there was a little taste testing so I went slightly over my Oat Bran allowance for yesterday but I will cut it back today for balance

I'm half-planning it & half-winging it & I'll admit, it's not the best method. I just need to get through these attack days & then hopefully get into a food groove & figure out when I'm going to exercise.

On a positive note, I tried making the pancakes again this arvo and them are good this time. Kept them to piklete size as they are very soft to turn. Put baking paper in bottom of my stainless steel frypan, so non stick and easy clean up

What's with 'Debbie Downer' types? I am part of several weight loss groups.
One is the LoseIt! group, it's mainly a Food/Exercise Log with a 'community'. Honestly, mention you are on Dukan or say Low Carb and people jump all over me for not being healthy (these are the same people who happily log things like Chirizo Sausage at 450cals per serve and complain they don't lose or gain weight).
And then I am on a Dukan Facebook page, dare to mention I went slightly off 'Allowed Foods" and had Extra lean Sausage occasionally and I get jumped on for recommending food not on the plan. Also seems to be filled mostly with people either doing over as they have gained all their weight back or those whom the diet is not working.
I am getting results, really good results. I will officially weigh in tomorrow and should be down 15kgs (in 13weeks). Starting to wonder if the 'Debbie Downers' are not getting similar results and just want to knock me down a peg or 2. I joined both for the support and encouragement and to get any hints/tips/recipes I could get. Feeling it's not worth being part of something that ends up negative.
I try very hard (same as here) to be positive and supportive, don't know why I get these negative responses sometimes. Might just go quiet on them for awhile and just let my numbers speak for me. Sometimes people are really annoying.
Sorry this was a negative note, I just don't understand the attitude of dragging someone else down to make themselves taller.
I love you girls so much.

About 6 weeks ago I sorted all my jeans/slacks in the wardrobe into 3 piles. NOW, NEXT and LATER. Well I am happy to say I have moved on from the NOW pile (most of those have been tossed in the bin as they were falling apart, there are a few pairs there for the Op Shop). Now I am on the NEXT pile and yesterday I had the fun task of taking them in at the waist. Although I have lost some cm's from all areas, I have mostly lost it through my face, neck and torso at this stage. I have tops that are starting to look a bit baggy and all my waist bands are way too big, most pants are a relaxed fit now in the legs too (you know that day 2 denim feeling without having to wait till day 2). So with the waist bands taken in I can get a few more weeks/months out of these ones. Week 13
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS = 13.8kgs (oh so close to 14 I can taste it)

Hi Shellie, Surely walking is going to help! Ive done a couple of walks this week. One with DGD in the stroller and she loves to see the horses in our street and visit 2 ponies! But the weather is so unreliable. I have a treadmill thats to be set up in DS27s old room. He still hasn’t taken much of his stuff Im starting to get quite annoyed as he lives in his own house, he is not renting. I told him 2 weeks ago he needs to take his (big) aquarium, the drawers it's on and his filing cabinet- everything else is squeezed into the wardrobe (and that will be next) Then the treadmill will be set up in there I started doing Trim down club. Its very like stabilization stage of Dukan I guess. Im finding it too many carb although they say its still low carb as its 40% and usually carbs are 60% of a diet. Im having muesli (small serving than they say) a couple of times a week for breakfast and one slice of toast (they say 2) with sardines and avocado a couple of times a week and a wrap for lunch most days with vegetable soup. I never have the brown rice and lentils they suggest a couple of times a week. I did PP only last Monday-lost 800grams and its been the same all week -no loss but no gain. So really Im making up my own diet but its food I like and Im eating enough during the day that Im not starving at 4pm wanting to scoff everything in sight. In fact i have not eaten a single piece of chocolate, chips, cake , biscuit, slice or peanut bar. So I have only eaten healthy food. So today Im doing PP day. It works best for me on a Monday and I’m motivated after the weekend and a fresh start to the week. But the thought of doing it again in a week sickens me so Im not going to at this stage.
