Thank you so much Shellie for your kind thoughts & encouragement xo I've lost 300gr this morning, and yesterday I went for a 20 minute walk after DH got home with DS after school. I'm thinking I'm going to fit my walks in most days when I get home from dropping the kids off at their schools (about 9.30am). Maybe just wait until TTOTM is over & you'll probably have a bigger loss then. no loss today but I didn't expect to with dinner last night & I too didn't drink a lot of water yesterday. Week 1 Day 3 20/6/14 B: oatbran/wheat bran porridge L: D: need to to get better prepared I weighed in about 10 times yesterday ( a little obsessed over it) and now this morning. I am 1.6kgs lighter this morning than at the highest weight yesterday . THANK GOODNESS.
So I am going to blame not enough water and missing the Oat Bran. I still don't know if it's actually TTOTM yet. Not exactly regular at my age . You know what they say about ladies living together and getting in sync? Well it does happen. So in theory I should either have them or be about to, but with me I can go between every 3weeks and every 6 weeks, so I never know until it happens. Sometime I start the week that 1 DD does and mine continue into the 2nd week while the other DD does. No wonder DS21 moved out,
But the good news is I'm back to where I was on Monday morning, crisis averted

Total Weight Loss =18.8 Kgs
Well it's quite clear to me that those few 'slips' made a huge difference to my weight loss this week. I am not super strict with Dukan as some I have met online. I do eat pork about once a week, and we do have the occasional Lean Beef Sausage on the BBQ, I don't buy Quark or 'Fromage Free', I do substitute Philly Cheese or Cottage Cheese in the lowest fat form I can find. I have had a cookie or 2 when desperate (although that isn't logged here), and I am well aware that my 'quarterly' swig of red wine on Saturday night is NOT Dukan recommended. I would not have said I was struggling with trying the 5PP/5PV rhythm..but I know I made some bad choices this week. Based on emotion and feeling a little bit cocky that it would be ok if I strayed a little from the program, cause I was expecting a big number based on results from my original Attack Phase. That didn't happen. A case of counting my chickens before they hatched, I think.
Anyway onward and upward (or downward in the scales case). I will not be deterred by this result, it's not a gain or even a hold after all, it IS a loss. And as they say 'a Loss is a Loss'.
Going to stick with the 5PP/5PV rhythm for this 10 day cycle and then a 2nd 10 days, just to see what happens. Also planning to be a little more strict with myself, especially during the 5PP part to really give it it's best shot.

Almost at the end of July, and this month has just been spinning my wheels. In fact if I look back it was a month of gain, then regain that loss. Well I am back to having lost 20kgs, which is good. I have eaten quite a few things I shouldn't have (and didn't food log it as I was just embarrassed about my lack of self control). So onwards and downwards from here.

I just looked up my Dukan Countdown on my phone. I have been on Dukan now for 23weeks (and 3 days). I am glad I put it in the App, so it's easy to work out. Doing the 5PP/5PV rhythm didn't quite workout for me, so back to 1PP/1PV.
